The Oxbow lake at Letton Court has been visited by Bewdley piker Darren Allen for ten or more years and for his first trip down this winter, Sunday December 30th, he brought along pal Paul Humphreys. Although Paul has been Piking for many years he had never landed a 20lb+ fish. Even though this was his first pleasure trip to the oxbow, he setteled in well and duly took a PB of 21lb 8oz - a very chunky fish.

Darren who has had pike up to 31lb out of the oxbow caught a fish of 24lb 6oz so a very successful day for our two visitors from Bewdley.

Darren remarked that both the fish were in very good condition and were both caught on Pollan.
