Pictured is Paul Ashton holding a 9lb 7oz fish his heaviest of 8 Barble landed on an afternoon/early evening session on our stretch of the river Wye on thursday 28th June 2007. Paul, a member of the Letton Court Season Ticket Syndicate and a regular River Wye fishermen said that this is his best session on the River Wye for many years. Paul also said that the river looked really good with about a metre on, fining down nicely with a tint of colour. He was impressed with the quality of the fish caught and the fact that he also landed a couple of 10" Barble which bodes well for the future course fishing. His catch was boosted by landing 12 Chub, the biggest weighing 4lb 12oz in what must have been a very busy session. Well done Paul! |
