Over the last couple of months I have received numerous phone calls from frustrated anglers desperate to do some fishing. Sadly with a very wet early December, followed by freezing weather ever since, conditions have been impossible.

The weather in the week ahead looks to be milder, but maybe some snow mid-week. A milder end of the week may well result in the pools at long last being fishable. With the rain/snow due mid-week, the river may again be unfishable - a phone call may save a wasted trip.

Pike fishing on the River Wye and Ox-bow obviously looks questionable over the coming week, but as booking by phone at Letton Court is essential, I can give you up-to-date conditions.
